Enka is a private Pre K-12 co-educational day school located in Istanbul, Turkey. Our students are primarily Turkish citizens, of whom approximately 15% hold dual citizenship. The school was founded in 1996 to be a private not-for-profit centre of educational excellence in the cultural capital of the country and to provide an inspiration and a model for schools both within Turkey and throughout the international educational community.
The School Campus
The campus of Enka Schools is situated in the heart of the new business center of Istanbul. It is located on the European side of Istanbul, about half way down the Bosphorus, on 16 acres within the Enka Sports Facility.
Next to the school are the large sporting facilities of the Enka Sports Club including the indoor sports, tennis and fitness centres, 400 m tartan running track, 25 m indoor pool and an Olympic size competition pool. Additionally, there is a general sports area including two football pitches, one basketball and volleyball area.
